1801 McGee. Kansas City, Missouri
1801 McGee was our first real estate development project. The building is located in an area just outside of downtown Kansas City that was on the cusp of re-development. It was built originally as a Ford Model T showroom and service center and was virtually untouched when my business partner and I bought it. Our plan was to fully renovate the shell and create office space for our architectural practice on the top floor. We learned a lot in that process and spent 10 great years in the building before we out-grew it.
